128x64 BL/WH TOUCHSCREEN GLCD

If you intend to use the mikroE builtin development board touchpanel controller you should first consider these 2 items:

• 128x64 GLCD with Soldered Connector
• TOUCHPANEL OVERLAY For 128x64 GLCD

NOTE: THIS GLCD IS 100% COMPATIBLE WITH MIKROELEKTRONIKA DEVELOPMENT BOARDS (by adding 20-pin straight female connector) AND using COMPILER GLCD LIBRARIES. THE LOCATION OF THE FPC Connector of the Factory-Mounted TOUCHSCREEN on this LCD IS NOT compatible since it cannot reach the built-in onboard FPC connector.. You can create your own touchpanel control code using any compiler and microcontroller that has at least 2 ADC inputs, as shown in the videos below.
We recommend the EZ-FPC Adapter for this purpose.

Compatible 4 x 1mm pitch FPC connectors are inexpensive and available from all the major electronic supply houses.   Here is an example of a compatible through-hole FPC connector from DigiKey:
